How soon can I start making money?
You can start making money as soon as you get hired! You will have to go through the screening process. After going through our interviews, tests and submitting requirements, the final step will be a Skype interview with your potential employer. It also depends on how long the employer can make a decision, but usually after the interview you will be informed if you will be hired or not.
How are the interviews done?
The interviews are conducted via Skype. Our recruitment assistants will be informing you about the interview schedule 24 hours prior to the scheduled interview. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you are on time, or even early on these interviews.
As they say, first impressions almost always last.
Will I be in direct contact with the client?
When you get hired, yes!
How do I get paid and how many times do I get paid?
You can actually negotiate this with your virtual boss directly, when you are discussing your employment contract. Please make sure that both you and your virtual boss are clear on this subject. Do not be afraid to ask if you feel that it is not made clear to you.
What is your mode of payment?
Virtual Staff Finder does not pay you. Once you get hired, your virtual boss will pay you directly.
Most of our clients pay their VAs via Paypal, so we recommend that you set up your account with Paypal if you want to work online. However, if you are not comfortable getting paid via Paypal, you can discuss with your virtual boss directly on other options. You can even make suggestions!
Is there a contract I need to sign?
Most of our clients will have you sign a contract. Some, don’t, so it really depends.
What if I dont get paid?
This rarely ever happens. If it does, we advise that you contact your virtual boss directly, since we do not employ you, we cannot directly get involved in your payment issues.
However, as a company, we will always try our best to help out our fellow Filipino VAs, so if you come to us with any issue, we will do our best to help you resolve it.
Do you accept applicants without online experience?
Unfortunately, we do not accept those who don’t have online experience. This is why we conduct seminars to teach people how they can gain experience.
And once you are experienced, you can apply with us!
What is your working schedule?
Your schedule depends on the preference of your virtual boss. Some prefer to have a fixed shift, some have flexible shift. It really depends on the Job Description.
Are we entitled to sick leaves and vacation leaves, like other employees?
Yes you should be. If you are not sure, please ask your virtual boss directly.
Does the client pay extra for overtime?
It depends on your agreement with your virtual boss. Again, you have to ask your virtual boss directly.
Does the client offer health insurance and 13th month pay?
Almost all of our clients provide a 13th month pay since they are well aware of this in the normal Philippine work setting. Again, it depends on what the offer is, but you can always clarify this directly with your virtual boss before you accept the contract and start working.
However, not all of our clients will provide insurance. Some do once they are happy working with you for a period of time. Health insurance is provided in some cases, in others, a different option is chosen by the VA. So again, you need to manage this yourself since you work directly with your virtual boss.
